Great read!! I read this book in two hours. God Made Me Wait is very real, raw and transparent. So glad to know that I'm not alone in some of the bad decisions that I made. Thanks Sherrell and Natasha for keeping it real.
This is an awesome TESTIMONY of what God is capable and able to do when you have faith, believe and pray in all aspects of your life. No matter what you are going through this book shows you how God can make a way even when it seems like there isn't a way. I recommend this book to all who have ever been through anything whether "big or small". Even if you think your situation isn't "that" serious, it's still an awesome read.
Was an amazingly honest read! Grateful these women were able to tell their truths showing that we (beautiful, black, imperfect women) make the same or similar mistakes but GOD! His timing is EVERYTHING and when we trust him and do what he has called us to do...the blessing are limitless! Thank you again for your transparency ladies!
I would like to start off by saying WOW! WOW! God Made Me Wait was so AMAZING. This book really touch my heart in so many ways. Sherrell and Natasha has done an outstanding job with telling their stories. I must say after you reading this book if you wasn't a believer you will be. I was very disappointed by this book. I followed the same day proposal-marriage love story of The Duncan's like most and was in such awe at the awesome, rare display of positive, authentic black love in today's times. I also, bought Man Uplifting (which is my next read). God Made Me Wait is a confusing disjointed piece of work. This compilation of Sherrell and Natasha's journalling reads like two different people wrote it and did not consult one another on making smooth transitions between the many stories. I support their mission of showing God's miracle working power through personal transparency, but this book was very poorly written.
I love this book these last 14 prayers I did and just completed it’s helping me get through some challenges I’m having in my life!! Get this book it’s a must read and blessing most of all!!
