Excellent book on meditation. I love how Brendan William connected with his readers to make the journey to adding meditation into your life seem easy, important, and uplifting. I have always felt that meditation books made meditation harder then it really is or not realistically obtainable. Williams does a great job explaining the steps and mind set needed to make daily mediation easy to incorporating into my life.I loved his personal story and realist approach. And his 'Mind Tricks' are in fact easy to apply ways to fit meditation into our crazy busy lives.
I for one will be using this book as my guide for meditation. I appreciated the many resources he gave and he's references to the "Law of Attraction". I am so happy I found this gem of a book, and strongly encourage you to add it to your collection of books to help you on your spiritual journey.

Stupid to buy in the first place. Self speak is not a very effective meditation. Know what is? Breathe.
I enjoyed the book , but felt it was a little simplistic and then again maybe that was the author's intention.
There's no denying that reading this book will shift your mindset (and life) into a positive direction which is why William is quickly becoming one of my favorite writers. BW does a great job combining instructional guidelines with encouraging thought practices- all the while keeping the narrative light and fun. Read a few pages each morning and you’ll be pumped to take on the day’s challenges! Looking forward to the next “Mindset” installment!!
I have read numerous books on meditation but I have to say that I was really surprised with the content in this book. It has some really awesome techniques and mind tricks that I haven't really heard before and the author did a good job of walking you through it all. I actually took some notes and I normally don't do that with books. I will be using some of these ideas in my journey for less stress and a clearer mind.
I found this book to be extremely helpful breaking down the rather confusing world of meditation. I have been practicing meditation only for a few weeks now and haven't been as consistent as I would like. I'm starting out with 5 mins a day just to get used to it. Before reading this book I never realized the benefits of doing meditation twice a day (upon waking up and before sleep). I also didn't realize important the time frame was and how much difference a few minutes more can make. Thank you Brendan for providing a simple guide for very new beginners that is clear and understandable!
Wow! What an excellent book. I've meditated for years and read lots of books and this is the best meditation book I've come across on . I especially liked the section on demystify meditation because I think a lot of people really don't understand what it is or why they might need or want to do it.
The book includes 100 positive reasons to meditate. That was a nice and unexpected find. Also includes some mantras and positive saying.
Its obvious the author put a lot into the book and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning about meditation.
Meditation is something that I have struggled with for well over a decade. I know that it should be a part of my daily routine, yet I find it hard to fit it in and, when I do, find it hard to concentrate. Obviously, this is counterproductive because people like me are the ones that probably need the practice the most so I picked up Brendan William's book for some help. What a great, and well-written, guide to meditation that has already helped me immensely. Williams covers a great deal, including the benefits of meditation, how to meditate and some great mantras that have been very helpful to me. I found William's writing style and tone to very engaging - helping me to finally key on some meditation practices that work for me.
